Visit the Professional Development link for training opportunities. A list of trainers for the following programs are listed below:

•White Board/Promethean Board Training
White board trainers will come to ACE schools to train and help teachers utilize white boards in their classrooms. Although these trainers specialize in using the promethean software, the training can be fit to any type of white board or smart board the school is using.

•Indian Education for All

ACE has been awarded two IEA Grants. The first covered the 2006-2007 school year and resulted in 21 ACE  teachers being trained to carry basic introductory information to ACE schools about our Native American neighbors, the Crow and the Cheyenne.

In 2008 we were awarded our second grant which provided 11 participants from ACE schools to take 5 all day field trips to sites of significance to our Native American neighbors. The participants prepared projects for ACE teachers to use and access that would help prepare for or summarize the field trip experiences and are intended for classroom use. The projects will be found on line by Christmas 2008. The individuals who participated in this grant are listed as IEA Resource Persons and can be used to offer background information to schools considering field trips to the sites.

The 2006 trainers are available to visit ACE schools to share their introductory-level knowledge. Trainings involve 1 ¼ hours – perfect for early-out days. Contact the trainers directly or contact the Grant Administrative Agent.
