Several summer workshops are being offered for ACE members this summer. There will be NO charges for the workshops, and ACE will issue renewal units and help pay the expenses. One hour of renewal units per hour of class is available for all workshops. A minimum of eight participants are needed for each workshop.
Check back often as classes will continue to be added to the list.

- Paper and pop-bead modeling of restriction enzymes effect on plasmid DNA
- Pour agarose gels and electrophorese dyes to see effect of electrical current on various molecular weights as molecule move through gel
- Nonpathogenic e-coli bacteria analyzed using restriction enzymes to break plasmid DNA apart;
- Agarose gels receive broken plasmid DNA via micro pipeting
- Electrophoresing of plasmid DNA separate different fragments by molecular weight
- Gel staining allows visual analysis of DNA fragments
- Digital imaging of completed gels allows storage of information for future use
