The ACE March 7th PIR Day was a follow-up to the September workshop on Understanding by Design which was lead by Jay McTighe. Teachers and administrators took part in the March workshop at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Billings.

Gail Richardson is on hand to greet workshop participants. Erik Powell works with high school teachers and administrators. The morning session includes a review of Understanding by Design. Kindergarten through eighth grade teachers were lead through a review of Understanding by Design with Opal Dawson. Workshop participants enjoyed Opal's presentation style. Kindergarten through eighth grade teachers also did some UbD review during the morning session. Jerry Scoot works on ACE business during the session. There were many positive remarks regarding the lunch fare. The Crown Plaza did a great job! In Opal's afternoon session, teachers worked in grade level groups. Grade level or subject level groups worked on lessons in Erik's high school group in the afternoon session.
