May 30, 2007 ACE Board Meeting

- Call to order, introduction of guests
- Approval of April 25, 2007 minutes
- Approval of Financial report
- 2007 – 2008 PIR days … Dates are September 10, 2007 at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center with Bea McGarvey. Bea will do the whole day. Plans are to charge $15 registration fee to help with the expenses. I have not set up a location yet because we need to decide what that day should look like. Bea will return on March 3, 2008.
- Bus Driver Training … Dave Piel from Shepherd will once again set up the training on September 10th. Do we want to charge a registration fee for this training? Cost last year was $537 for trainers and $648 for lunch and refreshments for a total of $1,185.
- All of the ACE six trait trainers are listed on our web site for schools to contact. Because of the late date I decided to meet with them after school starts. I am still trying to get the names of other trainers to list at that site. Indian Education for All trainers will be placed on mtace.org web site when their project is approved by OPI.
- Nova Net and the board of public education decision. Nova Net information was sent to all ACE members.
- MAP assessment…. Information was sent via e-mail to ACE members.
- Jim Staab workshop.
- 2007 – 2008 Budget
- Set next board meeting … June 27 at Billings Hotel and Convention Center??
