IEA 2008 Grant for Trainer Professional Development
*ACE has been awarded their second IEA Grant (Indian Education for All) through OPI. It is a short and quick grant that must be completed by the end of this summer and provides continued professional development opportunities for 15 Indian Education for All (IEA) trainers, grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. OPI Renewal Units are given, graduate credits will be earned (not sure how many) and participants are paid $50 for each day for their time. The grant is available at this link: IEA Grant 2008.pdf. In 2006, the Alliance for Curriculum Enhancement was awarded an OPI grant to use in training a group of volunteer educators in the area of Indian Education.
